
Robert Horowitz was born in South Africa and came to the US at the age of 14. He graduated with honors from Trinity College in Connecticut, and received an MBA from Columbia Business School in 1991. Following his formal education, Robert worked first as an equity research analyst, and then as a fee-only financial advisor in Stamford, CT.
In 2000 Robert moved to San Francisco to work at Charles Schwab, where he led the team that developed the investment-advice software used by more than 400 professionals at branches throughout the country.
Since 2003 Robert has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families reach their life goals by developing a sense of mastery over their financial affairs.

Robert serves on the Executive Committee of the Marin Montessori School Parents' Association.
